Five years scientific assistent and research staff member at the Institute for High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems, Technical University of Berlin, Germany, Doctorate (German PhD).

Professional experience:

Member of the "Engineer's Board" at Siemens AG, Erlangen, Germany, with:

fundamental investigations on dielectrics and insulation in the High Voltage Test Laboratory of the Switchgear Factory in Berlin, Germany
projections of very large medium-voltage switchgears.

Head of the laboratories, testing facilities, and development of high voltage and EMC measuring systems at Messwandlerbau, Bamberg, Germany.

Full Professor at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Beuth Hochschule Berlin) , Department of Electrical Engineering, for:

Large Electrical Energy Systems,
High Voltage Engineering and Switchgear Technology,

from 1980 to 2006: Head of the University's "EMC and High Voltage Laboratory"
